Wedding Workshop

On Sunday I had the pleasure of attending my very first Wedding Workshop at MODA Events, Portside. The workshop consisted of four guest speakers, which included a photographer, a make-up artist, a florist and a cinematographer. The thing that I loved about the workshop was that none of them jumped up there and spoke for 15 minutes as to why you should use their services, with a huge sales pitch at the end. The workshop was really more around their tips when choosing a supplier or vendor in their field of expertise, which I thought was fantastic!! It was great to hear experts give advice on what to look for, what to avoid, and questions to ask when you are in that particular stage of your wedding planning -which when you think about it-is quite invaluable. The other bonus (of course) was the glass of champagne and the goodie bag we were given. For $20.00 it was a great afternoon spent dreaming of all things WEDDING!
